We're two weeks into the new year and if you're like many Americans, some of you have probably already failed to keep your New Years resolutions. If so, you are not alone! That said, here's a list of ten easy-to-keep resolutions that will make 2017 a great year.
Drink more water
This is by far the easiest resolution you can keep, especially considering the fact that humans are made up of about 65% water. Here are just a few reasons why staying hydrated is an important resolution to keep!
Get enough sleep
Did you know that not getting enough sleep can make you gain weight as well as shorten your lifespan? For a healthier well-being, try and get at least seven hours of sleep each night.
Skip the elevator and take the stairs
Don't have the willpower to go to the gym? Take the stairs instead and your legs will thank you!
Park far away
Too lazy to take the stairs? Try parking a little further away the next time you go the grocery store.
Don't text and drive
This one is pretty self-explanatory. Your text to your BFF can wait.
Learn something new every day
You can never learn too much. Subscribe to a newsletter like this one and feed your brain.
Support small business by buying local
Help support your local economy by buying local. Next time you feel like visiting a chain coffee shop, head to that local place you've always been curious about - you may be surprised.
Floss your teeth
Did you know that flossing your teeth can help prevent bad breath as well as heart disease? Do yourself a favor and take five minutes out of your day to floss.
Save money
Saving money doesn't have to be hard. Changing your daily routine even in the most simple ways can make a huge difference to your bank account. So the next time you want to go to Starbucks, make your own coffee at home and save $4.
Get organized
Cleaning and organizing doesn't have to be a challenge. Start with one room and don't work on anything else until it's clean. Products like the Dirty Dunk make home organization fun and easy!
